Kansas City's AI Community, Built by Its People
The Kansas City AI Club started in 2023 with a couple dozen people in a room who wanted to talk about AI honestly, without the jargon. Today we're one of the largest volunteer-led AI communities in the country, with more than 4,000 people who've joined us at an event.
We're practitioners, executives, students, and the AI-curious, all in the same room. No gatekeeping, no tech-bro attitude. Just people who want to learn from each other and help Kansas City build a real AI future.
Every meetup, panel, and demo night comes back to the same idea: community first. Come see what we're building.
Three Ways to Get Involved
Connect & Collaborate
Come to our panel discussions to hear from people doing the work. Local practitioners and leaders talk through what's actually happening in AI right now, the tools, the trends, the tough questions, and you get to ask them anything.
Hands-On Workshops
Our hands-on workshops get you building. Experienced practitioners walk you through real tools and techniques, from your first line of code to more advanced machine learning work, so you leave with something you actually made.
Community Projects
Join our community projects to apply your AI skills for good. Collaborate with fellow members to tackle real-world problems, contribute to open-source projects, or start something new. It's a chance to innovate, make an impact, and see your ideas come to life in ways that benefit our community and beyond.
