Dr. Anil Chauhan is the Professor and Vice-Chair of Artificial Intelligence, Informatics, and Innovation Department of Radiology at KUMC. Before joining as a faculty member at KUMC, Dr. Chauhan held faculty positions at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Chauhan enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows and was awarded "Teacher of the Year" by the residents at the University of Minnesota. His areas of clinical practice involve abdominal imaging, with a specific interest in oncologic imaging. He is also a fellow member of multiple societies, including AlUM, SAR, and SRU.
Dr. Chauhan has an extensive research background with a primary focus on Al and large data analytics. He is on the editorial board of multiple journals and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Chauhan has also developed multiple collaborations between different departments, colleges, and institutions. He has given numerous CME lecture nationally and locally.
