John Benson is a Solutions Architect at Stinson LLP, bringing over a decade of expertise in e-discovery and digital forensics. As an Attorney, Discovery Consultant, and certified forensics examiner, John has lead teams to enhance client outcomes and user experiences. He’s passionate about leveraging technology to transform the legal landscape and often shares his insights as a speaker on e-discovery, digital forensics, and cybersecurity, including guest lectures at the UMKC School of Law.

At Stinson LLP, John oversees all aspects of discovery, contributes as a product manager for the Relativity e-discovery platform, and spearheaded the creation of the firm’s internal digital forensics practice, introducing a new, profitable service offering. His work spans a wide range of digital investigations, from trade secret theft to cyber incident response.

John is also deeply involved in the cybersecurity community as a founding member of SecKC, the world's largest monthly information security meetup, and founded the Cowtown Computer Congress, a nonprofit hackerspace in Kansas City. His leadership in technology and commitment to community engagement make him a key figure in legal technology and cybersecurity circles.
